What makes Asheville Ice different?
Our ice goes through a special filtration process, which leaves the ice water bottle quality. Our ice is different from your freezer ice, which can contain chemicals/minerals or odors absorbed from items in your freezer.

What chemical are used to clean and service the Ice Machines?
All machines are cleaned with a sulfur free, odor free, and chemical free cleaning agent, which is harmless to humans and the environment.
Do you rent containers for storing the Ice for events/functions?
Yes, 150 qt. large igloo coolers (which have a 7-day ice retention) can be rented for $18 each w/ $30 refundable deposit.
Can you repair ice machines same day?
Yes, typically we can get you up and running within 24 hours. Because we specialize in ice machine repair we have many parts in-house
Have you had several service calls during the life of your ice machine?
Maybe the best option is to rent an ice machine. Our machines are newer and we take care all small and large repairs at no charge to the customer.
How many times should I clean my ice machine per year?
Recommend Cleaning:
Weekly: Clean and sanitized the door liner, door gasket and door frame.
Monthly: Clean the Exterior
Semi Annually: Clean and sanitize the entire interior of the bin and head unit.
What does the preventive program look like?
For the preventive program we would schedule the perfect time to come out and service your ice machine, change out the water filter and air filter. At that time we can also look at any other equipment you may have that could use servicing as well.
